What we do
Limitless Tutoring Group is a specialist SEN tuition provider. Our mission is to educate, empower, and inspire every student that we work with, ensuring that they have the best chance possible at success.
Where we do it
Limitless Tutoring Group is proud to sponsor and support the local community, so we have partnered with Fairford Leys Community Centre where we have based our classrooms, which not only allows for us to have a central base, but also provides funding to the local businesses and Parish Council facilities. We can also run sessions online, as well as on-site at school – All staff are enhanced DBS checked.
When we do it
Limitless Tutoring Group operates term time only to coincide with the school timetable. Times can be discussed during the initial consultation but can be worked to be convenient for you.
How we do it
We have staff that are trained in a variety of different teaching methods to ensure that students are taught to the highest standard and that what we teach is retained by every student. We operate on a therapeutic, stage-not-age approach, so every student’s curriculum is bespoke to them. We use an ITAC (Internal Team Around the Child) system which helps to evaluate progress, plan next steps, and evidence change in mental health, emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and learning. Our teaching methods focus on 3 things –
K – Knowledge:
This is the first step to learning. Knowledge revolves around recognising or remembering pieces of information but without necessarily understanding what they mean.
U – Understanding:
This step revolves around demonstrating an understanding of the knowledge by summarising or generalising facts. It can also involve giving descriptions or stating the main ideas.
A – Application:
This step involves combining the knowledge and the understanding to formulate answers or problem solve in new situations. Students should be able to use prior knowledge and understanding to use as a base for finding answers.
